Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient safety programs and initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the patient safety team to ensure effective implementation of safety protocols.
• Conduct thorough investigations of safety events, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in patient safety.

Qualifications:

• BSN (Required)
• MSN (Preferred)
• Active Texas RN License or Compact State License (Required)
• Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS) (Required)
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience in Patient Safety, Risk, and/or Quality (Required)
• Recent clinical leadership experience in an acute care setting (Required)
