Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated TCT Lead RN – Apheresis Oncology to join a collaborative and compassionate team at a regional medical center in Gainesville, FL. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced nurse who thrives in a fast-paced oncology and hematology environment, with a strong emphasis on apheresis care.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate apheresis treatments for oncology and hematology patients. Serve as a clinical expert, resource, and mentor for the nursing team, ensuring evidence-based practices are followed. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, oncologists, and hematology specialists, to deliver patient-centered care. Oversee patient assessments, treatment planning, and evaluations, with a focus on safety, quality, and comfort. Monitor, calibrate, and maintain apheresis equipment to ensure operational excellence. Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives within the TCT and oncology units.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Active Florida RN License or eligibility to obtain before hire.

Experience
3 years of recent acute care RN experience in hematology-oncology and/or apheresis populations is required (within the last year). Apheresis experience is mandatory.

Certifications
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – Preferred. Apheresis Specialist Certification – Highly desirable. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required.
